In her current series "Flesh & Bones" (2024), the artist continues her research in positioning Black identity within the French society and its overseas territories. While doing so, the breathtaking nature of Guadeloupe remains a constant source of inspiration:
"Walking through the rainforest with friends, not far from a waterfall on Basse-Terre (Guadeloupe), I took the time to observe the plants, roots, bark and branches of the trees that surrounded us. I drew parallels between this vegetation and the vascular system, human cells, ribs and muscles. I was and still am fascinated by these similarities."
