Berlin-born multidisciplinary artist Benni Kakert (*1994) is a member of german postmodernism. Kakert’s unique style is characterised by mixing spontaneous graffiti-like gestures, german symbols, words and objects with depictions of himself, his dog Freddi and people Kakert feels connected with.
In 2021 Kakert founded 'Bestattungsinstitut King' a burial institute.
He was the initiator of the installation 'Schutzraum Nord' in Kunsthochschule Weißensee in which students of the school could find a refuge.
Kakert lives and works in Berlin.
